About The Position

Paul’s Run Retirement Community in Northeast Philadelphia is seeking a full-time Dining Services Supervisor to join its team. The role oversees dietary services, including processing diet orders and changes, managing menus and resident diet records, and coordinating dietary team members. The supervisor also interacts with residents, supports continuous quality improvement, and helps maintain compliance with Philadelphia City and Pennsylvania State Department of Health regulations.

Available schedules are 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. or 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., including every other weekend.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of supervisory experience.
• Serv Safe certification, or ability to obtain certification within the first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Process diet orders and diet changes according to Nurse or Dietician orders.
• Develop, distribute, and tally menus daily.
• Maintain resident diet Cardex, diet cards, and/or tickets daily.
• Answer telephone calls, take messages, and relay information as needed.
• Maintain compliance with Philadelphia City and Pennsylvania State Department of Health regulations.
• Schedule, assign, delegate, and instruct dietary team members.
• Visit residents and assist in obtaining completed menus.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement.
