Dining Room Supervisor
About The Position
Anchor Bay Pocasset is hiring a Dining Room Supervisor for its dining team at its Johnston, Rhode Island community. The supervisor leads and oversees front-of-house dining room staff, coordinates waitstaff scheduling, meal setup, and special events, and maintains dining room cleanliness. The supervisor also serves guests when needed. Cook and prep cook hours and training may be available for associates seeking additional opportunities. This is a full-time role with a stated shift of 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM and weekend and evening availability. Pay starts at $19 per hour. The community describes its environment as safe, home-like, and fun, and emphasizes customer service and a gourmet dining experience for senior residents.
Requirements
- One year of experience supervising or training staff.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and coworkers.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Ability to lift trays and dishes and occasionally move dining tables and furniture.
Nice To Haves
- Food Safety certification is preferred.
- Cook and prep cook hours and training may be available for associates seeking additional opportunities.
