About The Position

La Cumbre is looking for a hands-on, hospitality-driven leader to run our front-of-house dining operation. This is a floor-level leadership role with real room to grow in one of Santa Barbara’s most storied private clubs. The ideal candidate greets members by name, assists with tasks during busy periods, and is passionate about team development.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of dining room or F&B leadership experience.
  • Servant-leader mindset; willing to perform any task and support all team members.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop a service team through recruiting, training, and coaching.
  • Lead pre-shift meetings and manage daily front-of-house operations.
  • Maintain high service standards and remain visible on the floor.
  • Build genuine relationships with members and guests.
  • Partner with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless service.
  • Execute memorable events such as wine dinners, golf tournaments, and holiday celebrations.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards.
