About The Position

The Digital Senior Solution Advisor (dSA) is a customer-facing role specializing in digital sales techniques. This role involves mapping product capabilities to prospect requirements, supporting value messaging, and articulating how SAP uniquely delivers desired outcomes. DSAs act as domain experts and spokespersons for designated solutions or product segments, integrating SAP knowledge with modern digital sales methodologies to communicate product value and facilitate tailored solutions proposals for clients.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in three or more of the following finance domains: General Ledger accounting, Finance operations (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Treasury), Financial close & Consolidations, Global Tax, Governance, Risk and Compliance, and Project & management accounting.
  • 6+ years of experience across one or more of the following environments: Public Accounting, Corporate Finance or Controllership, SAP or ERP implementation consulting, Presales or solution advisory.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes, including record-to-report, order-to-cash, and procure-to-pay.
  • Storytelling skills with the ability to translate finance processes into business outcomes and customer value.
  • Experience working with SAP ERP solutions (SAP S/4HANA or SAP Cloud ERP preferred) or comparable enterprise cloud ERP platforms.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex financial and technical concepts to diverse audiences, including finance leaders, IT stakeholders, and executive teams.
  • Experience delivering: Solution demonstrations, value-driven presentations and/or technical workshops and discovery sessions.
  • Familiarity with digital finance transformation initiatives, including automation, analytics, and cloud adoption.
  • Experience working with or supporting AI-driven finance use cases, such as predictive forecasting, anomaly detection, invoice automation, intelligent reconciliation, or financial insights generation.
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools (e.g., copilots, AI assistants, or conversational analytics) used to enhance finance workflows, reporting, customer interactions, or job process efficiency.
  • Ability to articulate the business value of AI-driven capabilities during customer discussions, demonstrations, or solution presentations.

  • MBA or equivalent degree required from accredited university preferred (ideally with focus on Accounting or Finance).

  • Utilizing reusable digital assets to optimize for volume and efficiency in no-touch/low-touch transaction methods.
  • Driving discussions with potential clients to ensure SAP's offerings align with their unique requirements.
  • Providing vital support in RFx completion.
  • Ensuring clients transition smoothly post-sale.
  • Crafting holistic narratives for pivotal events and key presentations.
  • Leading webinars and aligning with Marketing and Demand Generation teams.
  • Molding the demand generation narrative, ensuring campaigns and content underscore unique selling propositions and address target market challenges.
  • Curating and innovating digital content for customer-facing situations, aligning content with advanced solution insights and market trends.
  • Teaching and mentoring.
  • Serving as a go-to person in the domain and collaborating with product and solution teams.
