About The Position

Bold Orange is seeking an ambitious, detail-oriented Digital Project Manager to execute digital strategies and campaigns in collaboration with teams and subject matter experts. The role plans, organizes, coordinates, and manages projects and retainers across channels for a variety of clients. The ideal candidate is comfortable with strategic thinking, client service, and agile project management across a wide variety of accounts. The position may include an in-office component of 1–2 days per week for hires in the Twin Cities metro area. Hires outside the metro area may be asked to travel to the Minneapolis office as needed; some travel is anticipated.

Project Management is a key part of Bold Orange’s work and directly supports client relationships and project deliverables. The role may partner on or own projects from initiation through delivery, including website development, marketing automation, personalization, and technical implementations. The position also includes project planning, budgeting, resource planning, sprint and timeline management, team coordination, client communications, and workflow improvement.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of project management experience in a digital marketing agency environment.
• Experience managing evolving initiatives and multichannel marketing campaigns, potentially including customer experience strategy, marketing automation, email marketing, web design and development, digital marketing campaigns, SEO, and analytics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ambitious, detail-oriented, hardworking, proactive, hands-on demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability and desire to work directly with clients.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment that requires frequent reprioritization and creative problem-solving through change.
• Commitment to continued professional development to stay current with emerging technologies, methods, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner on and potentially own multiple simultaneous digital initiatives from initiation through delivery, including website development, marketing automation, personalization, and technical implementations.
• Define project scope, build and manage budgets, and create resource plans that align appropriate talent to each project.
• Create and drive sprint plans and timelines to meet project milestones.
• Foster Bold Orange’s culture and guide teams in applying its principles to their work.
• Conduct internal and client stand-ups and status meetings about project deliverables and requirements.
• Identify ways to optimize workflows and efficiencies and maximize team effectiveness.
• Inform, support, collaborate with, and motivate team members to meet project goals and milestones.
