This role is for a Digital Marketing Manager to join the Digital Marketing team in a hybrid capacity, requiring 6-8 days a month in the office (every Wednesday and every other Thursday) at their Toronto, Atlanta, or Chicago locations. The manager will be responsible for owning Applied Systems’ review site presence, building and managing community content channels (like G2, Reddit, and Wikipedia), and supporting SEO/AEO and Paid Media programs across all brands. Reporting to the VP of Digital Marketing, this position aims to drive online visibility and authority, providing essential research, reporting, and execution support to the Search teams. The ideal candidate is an analytical communicator who leverages AI for efficiency, values collaboration and diverse perspectives, embraces challenges, and brings enthusiasm to high-impact work.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in digital marketing with hands‑on experience across SEO, paid search, and/or review site management; B2B SaaS preferred.
  • Experience managing review platforms (G2, Capterra, etc.), including profiles, paid programs, and performance measurement.
  • Experience supporting multi‑brand or portfolio marketing organizations.
  • Strong cross‑functional experience, coordinating across multiple stakeholders and parallel workstreams.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with GA4, Google Search Console, Google Ads, and Semrush.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn multi‑source data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with AI‑powered search engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini) and AEO concepts a plus.
  • Fluency using AI tools to improve productivity and analytical workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Own review site strategy and presence across G2, Capterra, and similar platforms for Applied Systems, EZLynx, and Ivans, including profiles, taxonomy, content optimization, and SEO best practices.
  • Lead G2 strategy across brands, driving category positioning, competitive performance, buyer intent integration, and pipeline impact; oversee paid programs, budgets, and optimization.
  • Monitor review sentiment and performance, manage response workflows with Product Marketing and Customer Success, and report on volume, ratings, traffic, leads, and ROI.
  • Build and manage Applied Systems’ presence on Reddit and Wikipedia, ensuring policy‑compliant, well‑sourced content that supports brand authority, AEO, and AI citation goals.
  • Monitor brand and competitor conversations across communities and surface insights to Product Marketing and Customer Success; pilot additional emerging channels aligned to organic growth.
  • Support SEO/AEO efforts through keyword research, content briefs, competitive analysis, and tracking competitor visibility across AI search platforms and review ecosystems.
  • Provide execution, reporting, and governance support for Paid Media programs, including UTM management, conversion tracking QA, attribution hygiene, and channel research.
