About The Position

State Farm is seeking a seasoned digital marketing data expert to serve as a Data Analyst for the Digital Channel Performance team. Our Digital Channel Performance team executes digital acquisition marketing strategies across paid, owned, earned, and content channels and looks to drive profitable digital growth while enabling seamless Human + Digital orchestration. As a Data Analyst in Digital Channel Performance, you will support the coordination, prioritization, and delivery of digital initiatives, as well as reporting and measurement of results. You will collect inputs, measure outcomes, and report Key Performance Indicators. You will communicate and partner with business owners necessary for digital operations and business performance. You will set goals, provide estimates and track performance to goals. You will support Product managers, Project Managers and Initiative Owners in execution of duties by providing insights and developing recommendations through data. You will utilize analytical and quantitative skills by using data and metrics to test theories confirm assumptions, generate insights/recommendations, and measure success. You will drive and influence business decisions based on metrics and data. You will create reports and dashboards using Tableau or similar tools. You will identify and capture data for tracking with Enterprise Technology partners. You will utilize testing experience A/B testing, configuring testing tools (with Enterprise Technology), reading/interpreting statistical results, and conducting pre- and post-analysis. You will monitor Marketing tactic performance.

Requirements

  • Expertise in SQL with basic experience in another programming language such as Python or R.
  • Experience creating reports and dashboards using visual tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Prior mentoring experience or desire to mentor experience.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated learning agility to quickly learn both, new technical skills and business acumen with immediate application of skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and resourcefulness competencies.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and communication competencies.
  • Bachelors in a quantitative field (marketing, business analytics, economics, computer science, finance, etc.) preferred.

  • Compensation is based on our standard 38:45-hour work week
  • Potential starting salary range: $97,000 - $142,000
  • Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
