About The Position

WCVB-TV is hiring for two off-camera Digital Content Producer positions that create original video and multiplatform journalism for the station’s web, app, YouTube, social, and streaming platforms, as well as for Chronicle and News broadcasts. One role is based in the News department and focuses on fast-turn digital publishing, breaking-news video, and enterprise or investigative reporting. The other is based in Chronicle and focuses on field-produced, Chronicle-style long-form storytelling for digital-first release and broadcast use. The producer develops and creates stories from pitch through final edit, often working independently in the field. The role includes producing short- and long-form video for digital platforms, adapting newsroom and Chronicle material for digital-first formats, and developing stories that extend beyond daily headlines. Producers also track platform trends and audience behavior, test formats and growth strategies, and collaborate across digital, newsroom, and Chronicle teams. Travel throughout New England, with occasional travel outside the region, and in-person attendance are required.
