About The Position

WACH has an immediate opening for a creative Social Media/Digital Producer responsible for creating content across all platforms. The position works closely with the Digital Executive Producer. The producer generates and writes stories and develops stories and videos for the organization's platforms. Requirements

• Solid news judgment.
• Compelling and accurate writing skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Flexibility and on-the-spot problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with non-linear editing software, such as Avid, and newsroom systems, such as iNews.

Nice To Haves

• Previous newsroom experience is preferred.
• A journalism degree is preferred.
