About The Position

Armadillo is seeking a dynamic Digital Communications professional with a passion for social media and brand storytelling. This role is instrumental in shaping and delivering Armadillo’s digital brand experience, orchestrating the day-to-day execution of our communications across social media, EDM, and website to drive engagement and brand desirability. As a key member of the global marketing team, you will bring new product launches, brand campaigns, and storytelling to life through considered, beautifully executed communications. The Digital Communications & Social Media Lead will possess a meticulous eye for detail, a strong design sensibility, and an innate understanding of brand building. Positioned at the heart of the brand, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across brand, creative, digital/ecommerce, and local market teams, ensuring every touchpoint reflects Armadillo’s distinctive aesthetic and commitment to excellence.

Requirements

  • Experience in digital communications and social media, preferably within the home decor or textiles industry.
  • Strong attention to detail & organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage content schedules, communications calendars, approval workflows and digital task trackers.
  • Impactful presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence a range of clients that will have varied degrees of familiarity with the brand.
  • Proficiency in digital communication software.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the ideation, planning and production of Armadillo’s digital content platforms, collaborating cross departments and with external partners where required.
  • Manage end-to-end digital communications calendar, ensuring timely delivery and a consistent storytelling across all channels.
  • Curate and execute social content with a focus on quality, consistency and brand alignment.
  • Support social media community management, including monitoring comments, messages, and engagement.
  • Manage journal/content ideation, builds, scheduling, and publishing.
  • Drive audience growth and deepen engagement across key digital platforms through considered content and optimisation strategies.
  • Develop and manage relationships in cross functional departments, external partners and internal creative teams.
  • Working with regional marketing leads to deliver on campaign goals.
  • Maintain a globally consistent brand presence while supporting local market nuances where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams, in support of producing creative assets in line with marketing calendar.
  • Assist with photoshoots, events and content production (pre-production and occasional on-site support).
  • Identify opportunities to enhance content workflows, with a focus on optimising processes related to content management, scheduling, and overall efficiency.
  • Track performance across channels using analytics tools and report on engagement and its impact on business goals.
  • Compile monthly, campaign-based, or event-based post-campaign reports across data platforms and tools
  • Analyse social digital metrics and provide recommendations for optimisation and improvements
  • Ad hoc reports and presentations
  • Interpret emerging digital and cultural trends through Armadillo’s brand lens, identifying opportunities for considered and relevant application.
