About The Position

This role supports clear, engaging and timely communications across the client’s community through the coordination of social media platforms, digital communications and community-facing content. The role has responsibility for the preparation and publication of communications such as client’s weekly, organic social media and our campus development communications.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and work proactively.
  • Demonstrated experience managing social media platforms, digital communications and content management systems, preferably Craft CMS or similar platforms.
  • Strong written communication, adapt writing style, editing and proofreading skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated capability in preparing and publishing digital content, imagery and communication materials.
  • A strong eye for visual presentation, audience engagement and identifying content opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate client’s social media platforms, including scheduling and publishing content.
  • Develop engaging and audience-appropriate content across a range of platforms.
  • Monitor and respond to messages, comments and enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Source, prepare and resize imagery and multimedia content for digital platforms.
  • Proactively seek content opportunities across the school community.
  • Review competitor and sector activity to identify opportunities, emerging trends and areas for continuous improvement.
  • Support the consistent presentation of client’s brand, tone and visual identity across social media channels.
  • Monitor and report on engagement analytics and identify opportunities to strengthen audience reach and engagement.
  • Development and implementation of an annual social media calendar.
  • Coordinate the preparation and publication of the weekly client’s Weekly newsletter.
  • Liaise with staff and key stakeholders to source and follow up content contributions.
  • Prepare written content, imagery and supporting communications materials.
  • Use Craft CMS to develop, format and publish digital communications.
  • Maintain awareness of activities, events and initiatives occurring across the school to support timely and relevant communications.
  • Ensure communications are accurate, engaging and aligned to audience needs and timelines.
  • Support website updates and ensure digital content remains current, accurate and aligned with brand standards.
  • Assist with promotion and coordination of school events, initiatives and community engagement activities.
  • Support communications relating to key strategic projects, including campus transition initiatives.
  • Maintain awareness of project developments, milestones and timelines through ongoing liaison with internal and external stakeholders, including leadership, architects, project managers and building consultants.
  • Implement the School’s two-year communications plan, including developing and delivering key messages to identified audiences at designated times through appropriate communication channels.
  • Assist in developing communications for a range of audiences, including staff, students, families, alumni and the broader community.
