About The Position

The Dietary Aide supports the Adult Day Health program at Rainbow Terrace Adult Day Care in Columbia, Maryland. The role assists with food preparation and meal service while helping create a clean, welcoming, and dignified dining experience for the individuals served. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with some Saturdays. Pay is $16 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

• ServSafe certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing menu items according to dietary standards and procedures.
• Keep food and supplies stocked and place orders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and dining area.
• Clean and maintain kitchen and dining equipment.
• Report safety concerns or incidents to a supervisor.
• Support the dignity, choice, and independence of the individuals served.
