About The Position

Metz Culinary Management is seeking Dietary Aids to join the culinary team at Oakdale Senior Living in Mesquite, Texas. In a busy hospital setting, Dietary Aids support patient dining by helping patients select meals, setting up and delivering meal trays, and removing trays. They work under the guidance of clinical dietitian staff to ensure meals comply with patient dietary instructions, while providing compassionate, hospitality-focused service. The position is part of a broader dining-services team that may also perform duties such as plating, café and dining-area setup and teardown, food preparation, dish-room work, inventory support, and sanitation. Requirements

Hospitality experience is desired.
Experience is desired, but candidates with a passion for food and an understanding of the basics may be trained.
Ability to apply elementary mathematical statistics relevant to inventory and portioning.

Strong work ethic and a positive, service-oriented demeanor.
Good communication skills; bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with meal selection.
