About The Position
Metz Culinary Management is hiring Dietary Aids for Oakdale Senior Living in Mesquite, Texas, in a busy hospital dining setting. Dietary Aids help patients receive in-room meals with attentive, compassionate hospitality. Under the guidance of Clinical Dietitian staff, they help ensure meals comply with patient dietary instructions. Duties include assisting patients with meal selection and setting up, delivering, and removing food trays. The broader Culinary Team supports food and dining service operations across multiple dining outlets. Depending on assignment, team members may plate food; set up and break down café, restaurant, or retail areas; assist with kitchen preparation and dish-room work; manage dry-stock and perishable-food inventories; support sanitation; or prepare and present meals according to chef menus. The employer offers full- and part-time roles and flexible schedules, with a daylight shift and no late nights. Requirements
- Hospitality experience is desired, but candidates with a passion for food and an understanding of the basics may be trained.
- Ability to apply elementary mathematical statistics relevant to inventory and portioning.

- Strong work ethic and a hospitality-driven approach.
- Good communication skills; bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities
