About The Position

Transport Refrigeration Services is seeking a skilled, motivated Fleet Service Truck Technician to maintain and repair its fleet. The role supports truck, trailer, refrigeration, and APU equipment, helping keep vehicles reliable and road-ready. The work is based at the TRS Cleburne–Joshua, Texas location. The listed hourly pay range is $30.50–$37.00, and the job shift is listed as “Any.” Night shifts receive a $2-per-hour shift differential, with additional hourly pay for ASE certifications in Brakes, Suspension, and PMs.

Requirements

• Clean, valid driver’s license.
• Must possess or obtain a toolbox and required tools.
• At least 1 year of shop experience performing DOT annual inspections or brake work, or tech school certification.

Nice To Haves

• Reefer unit experience.
• ASE certifications in Brakes, Suspension, or PMs, which qualify for additional hourly pay.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers, trucks, refrigeration units, and APU units.
• Troubleshoot and repair fuel, electrical, drivetrain, brake, suspension, and cooling systems.
• Replace brakes and service trailer ABS systems.
• Complete FHWA inspections and tire services, including mounting, balancing, and repairs.
• Repair trailer bodies, rear doors, and structural components.
• Perform interior and exterior trailer cleaning.
• Service APUs and provide general road service.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Operate forklifts, hoists, and company or customer vehicles.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
