About The Position
Transport Refrigeration Services is hiring an entry-level Diesel & Trailer Technician to join its service team in Cleburne, Texas. The company provides fleet maintenance and refrigeration solutions for the transportation industry, including system installations, maintenance, and repairs. The position offers flexible schedule options of three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts, with a $2-per-hour shift differential for second and third shifts. Additional pay is available for ASE certifications in brakes, suspension, and preventive maintenance. The listed salary range is $26.75–$30.50.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must possess or obtain a toolbox and required tools.
- Team-player mindset and professional attitude.
- Ability to travel occasionally for training or customer needs.
Nice To Haves
- Reefer unit experience is a plus.
- ASE certifications in brakes, suspension, and preventive maintenance qualify for additional pay.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on trailers.
- Conduct DOT/FHWA inspections and meet standard service times.
- Repair and replace tires, brakes, and suspension systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and ABS systems.
- Weld and fabricate with steel and aluminum.
- Respond to road service calls and repair company vehicles.
- Keep the shop clean, safe, and efficient.
