Entry-Level Diesel & Trailer Technician - Bartlesville, OK
About The Position
Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. is hiring a Trailer Technician to support its fleet service operations in Ochelata, Oklahoma. The company provides fleet maintenance and refrigeration solutions, servicing trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units. This position performs trailer maintenance and repairs, inspections, diagnostics, and related road service work while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. The job is full-time and offers flexible shift schedules of 3x12 or 4x10 hours. Additional pay is available for second- and third-shift work and for certain ASE certifications.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of shop experience with DOT annual inspections or brakes, or technical school certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Obtain a toolbox and required tools.
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Refrigeration (reefer) unit experience.
- ASE certifications in brakes, suspension, or preventive maintenance; additional pay is available for these certifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on trailers.
- Conduct DOT/FHWA inspections and meet standard service times.
- Repair and replace tires, brakes, and suspension systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and ABS systems.
- Weld and fabricate using steel and aluminum.
- Respond to road service calls and repair company vehicles.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
