About The Position

Clarke Power is seeking an experienced Truck Mechanic / Diesel Technician for their Dayton branch. This role is responsible for performing service and repair work on various truck systems, including drive train, engine, steering, electrical, suspension, and brakes. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting, inspection, and diagnostic skills, as well as experience with preventative maintenance. Computer skills and good verbal communication are also important. This is a Monday-Friday, 1st shift position.

Requirements

  • 2+ years relevant Diesel Tech/Truck Mechanic experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must be able to obtain DOT Med Card
  • Computer skills
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently and assist others as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) a plus

Responsibilities
