Transportation Diesel Mechanic / Technician
About The Position
TCI Maintenance is hiring a Level 2 or Level 3 Diesel Mechanic to repair and troubleshoot heavy-duty diesel trucks. The role calls for strong diagnostic skills, self-motivation, and a team-focused attitude. Technicians must use OEM and aftermarket diagnostic software to identify problems and determine the repairs needed, rather than simply replacing parts. The position is based in Liberty Hill, Texas, and works a Monday–Friday day shift, with on-call availability as needed. Pay is $27.00–$37.00, depending on skills and experience. Qualified newly hired Diesel Technician employees may be eligible for TCI’s Technician Retention Program, which rewards performance and long-term commitment; eligibility and details are provided during hiring and confirmed in the offer letter. Requirements
- 3–4+ years of diesel engine repair experience working on heavy-duty diesel trucks.
- Strong diagnostic skills using OEM and aftermarket diagnostic software.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company insurability requirements.
- Self-motivation and leadership skills.
Nice To Haves
- Class B CDL preferred, but not required.
