About The Position

Johnson & Towers, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, is hiring a C-level Diesel Mechanic/Technician at its Middle River, Maryland location. The role requires previous technician experience and involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles and equipment. The technician uses OEM software, tools, and technologies to address customer concerns, while maintaining safety, cleanliness, and communication with management. Requirements

• Previous experience as a technician.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the technician role, including prolonged standing or walking; occasional heavy lifting and pushing or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds or more; frequent use of hands to manipulate and grasp objects; reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, bending, stretching, or twisting.
• Good vision to inspect repair work and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work safely in noisy areas with odors and in areas with temperature or humidity extremes.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs, preventive maintenance, adjustments, and overhauls.
• Use OEM software, tools, and technologies to maintain, diagnose, and repair customer vehicles or equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Communicate job status, updates, and changes to the management team.
