About The Position

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions provides individualized care to children, adolescents, adults, older adults, people with developmental disabilities, and people affected by extreme trauma. Its multidisciplinary teams include mental health counselors, social workers, certified nurse practitioners, case managers, and psychiatrists.

The Developmental Disabilities Behavioral Support Specialist provides therapeutic behavioral services in consultation with a licensed clinician. The role supports individualized service planning, treatment, daily living skills, and crisis prevention for individual clients and groups. The position pays $18.20–$20.90 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, with some flexibility. The role involves travel throughout an assigned service area.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a bachelor's or master's degree in a related field, a high school diploma, or three or more years of relevant field experience.
• Related experience or training with mental or behavioral health conditions.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic behavioral services to clients in consultation with a licensed clinician.
• Plan individualized supports and coordinate healthcare, behavioral health, and non-healthcare services; develop treatment plans.
• Provide linkage, interventions, treatment options, restoration of daily living skills, and crisis prevention services.
• Provide services to individual clients or groups of clients.
• Promote positive and cooperative relationships with outside contacts.
