The Destination Specialist designs and organizes customized itineraries by working with clients to understand their travel preferences, budgets, and requirements. The role researches destinations and travel arrangements, provides customer service before, during, and after trips, keeps informed about travel trends and regulations, collaborates with team members to improve services, and handles issues or emergencies during clients’ trips. Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, special requests, and requirements.
- Research destinations, transportation, accommodations, and activities.
- Create detailed, personalized travel itineraries, including flights, transfers, accommodations, activities, and other necessary arrangements.
- Provide customer service before, during, and after clients’ trips.
- Stay up to date on travel trends, popular destinations, and changes in travel regulations or requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to improve services and offerings.
- Handle issues or emergencies that arise during a client’s trip.
