About The Position
True Adventure Travel is seeking a remote Destination Specialist to design and organize customized travel itineraries. The specialist works with clients to understand their travel preferences, budgets, and requirements, then uses destination knowledge to create personalized travel plans. The role also involves providing customer service throughout the travel experience, keeping current with travel information, collaborating with colleagues, and responding to issues during clients’ trips.

Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and special requests or requirements.
- Research destinations, transportation, accommodations, and activities.
- Create detailed, personalized itineraries that include flights, transfers, accommodations, activities, and other necessary arrangements.
- Provide customer service to clients before, during, and after their trips.
- Stay up to date on travel trends, popular destinations, and changes in travel regulations or requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to improve services and offerings.
- Handle issues or emergencies that arise during a client’s trip.
