About The Position
True Adventure Travel is a travel company specializing in personalized travel experiences. The Destination Specialist designs and organizes itineraries by learning about clients’ preferences, budgets, and requirements, then researching destinations and arranging customized travel plans. The role provides customer service before, during, and after trips, keeps current with travel trends and regulations, collaborates with colleagues to improve services, and addresses issues or emergencies during clients’ trips. Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and special requests or requirements.
- Research destinations, transportation, accommodations, and activities.
- Create detailed, personalized itineraries, including flights, transfers, accommodations, activities, and other necessary arrangements.
- Provide customer service before, during, and after clients’ trips.
- Stay up to date on travel trends, popular destinations, and changes in travel regulations or requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to improve services and offerings.
- Handle issues or emergencies that arise during a client’s trip.
