About The Position

The Desktop Support Analyst provides technical assistance to end users by troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues. This role ensures smooth day-to-day IT operations and delivers excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–3 years of experience in desktop or technical support
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and common business applications
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, macOS, etc.) and applications
  • Respond to help desk calls and in-person requests in a timely manner
  • Set up and deploy new equipment
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access (Office 365, M1 ERP, etc)
  • Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patches
  • Assist with IT projects such as system upgrades and migrations
  • Manage relationship and activities of outsourced IT company
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices
