About The Position

Flowerama is seeking hardworking, upbeat, and dependable people to work as a Designer/Customer Service Associate in its florist and gift store. The role involves helping customers and may provide an opportunity to learn floral design. Applicants should have customer service and/or retail experience and be comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced, creative environment. Pay is based on experience, and Flowerama promotes from within when possible.

The store operates Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hours may be extended during busy holidays. Employees are expected to work extended hours during Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day weeks, including on Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day.

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience.
• Excellent customer service experience.
• Strong telephone skills and the ability to establish rapport with customers.
• Ability to work as part of a team and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Typing ability of 30 WPM.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours daily and up to 10 hours seasonally.
• Commitment to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced, creative environment.
