About The Position
The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society San Diego is seeking a full-time Deputy Director with extensive knowledge of military pay and allowances. This civilian position does not require military service or enlistment. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background screening, and the successful applicant must be able to begin work within 30 days of the job offer. The opportunity remains open until filled.
Requirements
- Successful completion of high school or GED.
- At least 2 years of documented successful college-level coursework, or at least 2 years of work experience with a volunteer organization focused in the client service area.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
- At least 6 months of experience in public speaking or as an instructor/training facilitator at the adult education level.
- Ability to provide training, guidance, and support to a Volunteer staff.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Extensive knowledge of military pay and allowances.
- Successful completion of a background screening.
- Ability to begin employment within 30 days of the job offer.
