About The Position

This position performs functions within the Deposit Operations area, including wire processing, ACH processing, and setting up and making changes to deposit accounts. The role supports customers and employees with deposit and digital banking questions, reviews and processes transactions, monitors daily requests, reconciles assigned internal accounts, and compiles monthly reports. The position also embraces the Legacy Culture and provides outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least 2 years of previous bank experience.
Demonstrated attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

Previous deposit operations experience.
4 years of previous bank experience.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related area.

Responsibilities

Participate in and embrace the Legacy Culture while providing outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
Assist customers and employees with completing wire requests and monitor wire system activity.
Assist customers and internal employees with deposit account questions, including stop payments, transfers, overdrafts, interest calculations, fee assessments, and debit card transactions.
Answer customer and employee phone calls about personal and business internet banking, assisting with enrollment, login issues, and questions about online banking, mobile banking, bill pay, or Zelle.
Review Mobile and Commercial Deposit Systems and process transactions multiple times daily.
Monitor daily ACH requests that may require timely approval.
Review incoming Positive Pay files, resolve issues with posted items, and contact customers as needed to address unresolved statement items.
Reconcile assigned internal accounts.
Compile monthly reports for various areas.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
