Deployment Engineer (Security Clearance Required)

The job overview for this position is that the Deployment Engineer will be responsible for deploying and configuring Virtru products and solutions in customer environments. • Deploy and configure Virtru products and solutions in customer environments, ensuring successful implementation and integration.
• Collaborate with the customer success team to understand client requirements and tailor deployments to meet specific needs.
• Manage and maintain internal lab environments, including setting up test environments, replicating customer issues, and troubleshooting.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and customer success, to provide feedback and insights from deployment experiences.
• Develop and maintain deployment documentation, including installation guides, best practices, and troubleshooting guides.
• Train internal engineers and clients on Virtru product deployment and configuration, both in-person and remotely.
• Provide technical support and assistance to customers during the deployment and integration phases, troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of deployment processes and methodologies, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the development team to provide feedback and insights from deployment experiences to inform product enhancements and improvements.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Active security clearance preferred, such as a Top Secret clearance or equivalent.
• Experience as a Deployment Engineer or similar role, with a track record of successful software deployments and integrations.
• Proficiency in SharePoint administration, including configuration, customization, and integration.
• Experience deploying software applications in enterprise environments, preferably in cloud-based environments.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Exposure to C++ programming is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and educate both internal engineers and external clients.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
