About the position
This job is for a Deployment Engineer at Virtru, a leading data protection provider. The role involves deploying and configuring Virtru products and solutions in customer environments, collaborating with the customer success team, managing internal lab environments, and providing technical support to customers during deployment and integration phases. The ideal candidate should have experience in software deployments and integrations, proficiency in SharePoint administration, familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization technologies, and strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required.
Responsibilities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Active security clearance preferred, such as a Top Secret clearance or equivalent.
- Experience as a Deployment Engineer or similar role, with a track record of successful software deployments and integrations.
- Proficiency in SharePoint administration, including configuration, customization, and integration.
- Experience deploying software applications in enterprise environments, preferably in cloud-based environments.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Exposure to C++ programming is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and educate both internal engineers and external clients.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
