Federal Senior Software Engineer (Secret Clearance)

As a Federal Senior Software Engineer at Virtru, you will be responsible for building software that impacts how people approach data privacy. You will work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, developing with Python and working with IoT or Encryption Sensors. Additionally, you will deploy and operate a highly available, scalable Enterprise SaaS application in a DevOps environment. This role requires a Top Secret Clearance and experience with defense threat reduction.

• Developing with Python
• Working with IoT or Encryption Sensors to read, encrypt, and embed data
• Deploying and operating a highly available, scalable Enterprise SaaS application in a DevOps environment
• Taking ownership of the entire lifecycle and toolchain of an application
• Producing in an IDE VS Code development environment
• Having defense threat reduction experience
• Having an Active Top Secret Clearance
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing with Python
• Strong understanding of software design patterns
• Ability to read C++, C#, and .NET code and understand Nano TDF
• Experience building and deploying applications using AWS, GCP, or Azure Cloud Infrastructure
• Deployment with Docker and/or Kubernetes to accelerate development lifecycle
• Familiarity with Javascript, NodeJS, and other frameworks/toolchains including React, Babel, Webpack, Express
• Thinking outside of the box to challenge teammates and managers in pursuit of excellence
• Strong sense of urgency and action-oriented mindset
• Ability to collaborate and adapt to shifting priorities
• Comfortable with asynchronous communication methods such as slack, email, zoom, etc.

• Must have Active Top Secret Clearance
• Minimum 5 years developing with Python
• Strong demonstrable understanding of software design patterns
• Ability to read C++, C#, and .NET code and understand Nano TDF
