Department Manager - Hardware - Sioux Falls
About The Position
The Department Manager is responsible for merchandising and sales within the assigned Hardware Department at the Sioux Falls E. 10th Street location. The manager provides the highest level of customer service and reports to the Store Manager. The position requires the ability to work days, evenings, and every other weekend and/or holidays. Extensive knowledge and understanding of hardware is preferred. The stated pay range is $17.00–$19.00, depending on experience. The position is in a retail store environment. Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate the merchandising of assigned products.
- Set priorities for distribution of new merchandise within the assigned department.
- Ensure adequate inventory in all areas of the assigned department.
- Assist customers with purchases.
- Work closely with Retail Buyers to communicate assigned department product needs and other product information.
- Assist with training and directing new department team members.
- Ensure employees and customers practice safety when handling merchandise.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
