About The Position

One Vision Thrift Solutions is hiring a full-time Department Manager for its Fort Dodge thrift store. This hands-on retail leadership role oversees daily store operations and a team, supports sales and production goals, and contributes to marketing and social media engagement. The manager also supports the Store Manager with scheduling, merchandising, inventory, and performance management, while helping provide a positive experience for customers, donors, and volunteers. The thrift stores help fund One Vision’s nonprofit services supporting individuals with disabilities in finding meaningful work, homes, and personal independence. This is a safety-sensitive position, contingent upon a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Requirements

At least 1 year of retail sales or customer service experience.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Comfort using social media platforms to promote store events, sales, and community engagement.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing.
Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
Contingent upon a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
