About The Position
As a Cosmetics Department Manager, you represent Von Maur and help uphold its reputation for customer service. You drive beauty and skincare business growth by building and maintaining relationships, executing events, and inspiring associates to provide effective customer consultations and top-tier service. The role includes leading cosmetics associates, performing the duties of a cosmetics sales associate, and working a rotation of day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
- Motivate associates to deliver outstanding customer service by training, coaching, and leading by example.
- Execute all duties of a cosmetics sales associate.
- Assess associate performance to improve customer service, increase sales, and meet department goals.
- Provide associates with feedback on service, selling, and account statistics.
- Develop and implement solutions to address customer problems and department needs.
- Work a rotation of day, evening, and weekend shifts.
