About The Position
As a Sales Associate, you represent Von Maur and contribute to its reputation as America’s Leading Department Store. You help make a lasting impression on customers’ shopping experiences by providing sincere, friendly service, building customer relationships, and using product knowledge and store services to support customers. The role includes processing point-of-sale transactions, maintaining the department, and working toward individual sales and account goals. The position is based at Charlestowne Mall. The expected base wage is $15.00–$17.00 per hour, with commission and overtime eligibility; actual wages depend on individual qualifications, and commission may vary by department.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers sincerely, be friendly, and thank every customer.
- Develop customer relationships to grow business.
- Use product knowledge and highlight store services to create a strong customer experience.
- Process point-of-sale transactions and enter account information.
- Maintain a visually appealing and clean department.
- Achieve individual sales and account goals.
- Be available to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.
