About The Position

Osky Dental, led by Dr. Dan Schuster, is hiring a friendly, organized, and motivated Dental Practice Coordinator to support its patient-focused dental practice in Oskaloosa, Iowa. The position helps create a positive patient experience by coordinating appointments and schedules, assisting patients with treatment and financial information, and working closely with the doctor and dental team. Osky Dental describes its workplace as supportive, family-oriented, and guided by values focused on caring for patients and supporting the team. The role offers in-office training, professional growth, advancement opportunities, competitive compensation and benefits, and consistent, predictable hours. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and every other Friday for a half day.

Requirements

Friendly and professional demeanor with exceptional communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work independently as well as part of a team.
Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.

Nice To Haves

Dental experience or knowledge of dental procedures.

Responsibilities

Coordinate patient appointments and doctor schedules.
Answer phones and assist patients with scheduling.
Help patients understand treatment options and financial estimates.
Coordinate insurance benefits and patient accounts.
Collect and post payments and balance daily deposits.
Work with the doctor and dental team to ensure an exceptional patient experience.
Help keep daily schedules running smoothly and efficiently.
