About The Position

Osky Dental, led by Dr. Dan Schuster, is seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated Dental Practice Coordinator to join its patient-focused team in Oskaloosa, Iowa. The practice emphasizes exceptional dentistry, state-of-the-art technology, a positive and family-oriented workplace, and strong relationships with patients and coworkers. The coordinator helps manage patient scheduling, treatment and financial information, insurance benefits, patient accounts, payments, and daily office operations to support an exceptional patient experience. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., plus a half day every other Friday. Nice To Haves

Dental experience or knowledge of dental procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate patient appointments and doctor schedules.
Answer phones and assist patients with scheduling.
Help patients understand treatment options and financial estimates.
Coordinate insurance benefits and patient accounts.
Collect and post payments and balance daily deposits.
Work closely with the doctor and dental team to ensure an exceptional patient experience.
Help keep daily schedules running smoothly and efficiently.
