A-Team Dental Staffing is partnering with an established private dental practice in Altadena, CA to hire an experienced Dental Practice Administrator for an exciting direct-hire opportunity. This modern, patient-centered practice is committed to delivering exceptional dentistry through prevention, education, hospitality, and whole-body wellness. They are seeking a strong, visionary leader who can drive operational excellence, develop high-performing teams, and support continued practice growth. This is a heavy MGE practice, making it an ideal opportunity for a proven dental leader who thrives in a metrics-driven environment and is passionate about coaching teams, maximizing production, and creating an exceptional patient experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of dental management experience
  • Previous Practice Administrator or Office Manager leadership experience
  • Heavy MGE experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing teams
  • Strong understanding of practice financials, KPIs, and business operations
  • Experience coaching for production, collections, and case acceptance
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
  • Organized, proactive, and results-driven
  • Passion for leadership, team development, and operational excellence

  • Experience with Open Dental, Adit, SOTA Imaging, Planmeca, iTero Scanner

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of a multi-provider dental practice
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop the administrative and clinical support teams
  • Drive practice growth through leadership, accountability, and team development
  • Monitor KPIs including production, collections, case acceptance, scheduling efficiency, and patient retention
  • Partner with doctors to implement strategic initiatives and practice goals
  • Conduct team meetings, morning huddles, and performance reviews
  • Ensure an exceptional patient experience and a culture of hospitality
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and employee development
  • Support financial performance, budgeting, and operational efficiency
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and California dental regulations
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing workplace culture
