About The Position

Frankel & Puhl Dentistry is hiring a Dental Hygienist to provide patient-focused dental care in a modern practice environment. The role involves delivering attentive chairside care, supporting patients’ oral health, carrying out hygiene procedures according to the attending dentist’s treatment plans, and maintaining accurate patient records. The practice emphasizes quality care, including one-hour recall appointments, a supportive team culture, and opportunities for professional growth. A $7,000 welcoming bonus is offered to the right candidate. The stated salary range starts at $45 per hour.

The hiring schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; Thursday, 12:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m.; and Friday, 8:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. The practice is also open to discussing part-time and per-diem opportunities. Benefits are available at full-time employment of 30 or more hours per week, with some benefits also available to part-time employees.

Requirements

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the respective state.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification.
• Exceptional working knowledge of comprehensive dentistry, including dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and meticulous documentation.
• Any additional certification or license required by the state to perform specified duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide concierge-level patient care with exceptional chairside manner and build trust with patients.
• Identify signs of periodontal disease or potential oral cancers to support patients’ overall oral health.
• Document and review detailed patient medical histories and chief complaints.
• Take X-rays and intraoral images to assist with treatment planning and document progress or changes.
• Perform precise oral hygiene procedures in accordance with treatment plans prescribed by the attending dentist.
• Respond proficiently to emergencies arising from sudden adverse developments during patient treatment.
• Provide instructions for at-home care and oral health maintenance.
