About The Position
Dental365 is hiring a Dental Hygienist for Rittenhouse Dentists in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The role focuses on providing attentive, high-quality patient care in a modern dental practice, with one-hour recall appointments and a supportive environment focused on health rather than sales or production quotas. The practice offers opportunities for professional growth through its Hygiene Executive Committee. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., twice per month. A $5,000 welcoming bonus is offered for the right candidate. Requirements
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the respective state.
- Current CPR (BLS) certification.
- Exceptional working knowledge of comprehensive dentistry, including dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and meticulous documentation.
- Any additional certification or license required by the state to perform specified duties.
Responsibilities
- Provide concierge-level care and exceptional chairside manner while building trust with patients.
- Identify signs of periodontal disease or potential oral cancers to support patients’ oral health.
- Document and review patient medical histories and chief complaints.
- Take X-rays and intraoral images to assist with treatment planning and record progress or changes.
- Perform oral hygiene procedures according to treatment plans prescribed by the attending dentist.
- Respond proficiently to emergencies or sudden adverse developments during patient treatment.
- Provide patients with instructions for at-home care and oral health maintenance.
