About The Position
Dental365 is hiring a Dental Hygienist at Blank Dental Group Powell in Powell, Ohio. The practice emphasizes patient-centered, high-quality care, with one-hour recall appointments, a modern and safety-conscious environment, and opportunities for professional growth through its Hygiene Executive Committee. The team focuses on health over sales and supports hygienists without production quotas. A $7,000 welcoming bonus is offered to the right candidate. The role is open to discussion for part-time or per-diem arrangements. The listed schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The salary range starts at $50 per hour. Benefits listed as available to full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week; some benefits may also be available to part-time employees.
Requirements
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the applicable state.
- Current CPR (BLS) certification.
- Exceptional working knowledge of comprehensive dentistry, including dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and meticulous documentation.
- Any additional certification or license required by the state to perform specified duties.
Responsibilities
- Provide concierge-level care and exceptional chairside manner while building trust with patients.
- Identify signs of periodontal disease or potential oral cancers to support patients’ oral health.
- Document and review patient medical histories and chief complaints.
- Take X-rays and intraoral images for treatment planning and to record progress or changes.
- Perform oral hygiene procedures in accordance with treatment plans prescribed by the attending dentist.
- Respond proficiently to emergencies or sudden adverse developments during patient treatment.
- Provide instructions for at-home care and oral health maintenance.
