About The Position
Jon Frankel Dentistry, part of Dental365, is seeking a Dental Hygienist to provide patient-centered care in a modern dental practice in Toledo, Ohio. The practice offers one-hour appointments for new patients and recalls, contemporary care environments designed with safety and compliance in mind, and opportunities to grow through its Hygiene Executive Committee. A $7,000 welcoming bonus is offered for the right candidate. The hygienist provides concierge-level care, helps patients maintain and improve oral health, performs hygiene procedures in line with the attending dentist’s treatment plans, and supports accurate diagnosis and treatment planning through screening, imaging, and documentation. The practice describes a supportive culture focused on health rather than sales, without production-quota pressure. The role is open to discussion for full-time, part-time, and per-diem schedules. The listed salary starts at $45 per hour. Benefits are available to full-time employees working at least 30 hours per week, with some benefits also available to part-time employees.
Requirements
- Hold an active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the applicable state.
- Maintain current CPR (BLS) certification.
- Have exceptional working knowledge of comprehensive dentistry, including dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and meticulous documentation.
- Hold any additional certification or license required by the state to perform specified duties.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality concierge care and demonstrate exceptional chairside manner to build patient trust.
- Identify signs of periodontal disease or potential oral cancers to support patients’ overall oral health.
- Review and document detailed patient medical histories and chief complaints.
- Take X-rays and intraoral images to support treatment planning and document progress or changes.
- Perform precise oral hygiene procedures according to treatment plans prescribed by the attending dentist.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and sudden adverse developments during patient treatment.
- Give patients instructions for at-home care and oral health maintenance.
