Dental Hygienist (Welcoming Bonus)
About The Position
Dental365 is hiring a Dental Hygienist for Beyond Dental Health Cohasset in Cohasset, Massachusetts. The practice emphasizes patient-centered care, quality appointments, modern and safety-conscious work environments, and opportunities for professional growth through its Hygiene Executive Committee. A $5,000 welcoming bonus is currently offered to the right candidate. The schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. New-patient and recall appointments are one hour. The role provides concierge-level patient care, performs preventive and hygiene procedures according to the attending dentist’s treatment plans, supports oral-health assessment and treatment planning, and educates patients on home care. The stated salary range is $50–$58 per hour. Benefits are available according to eligibility; all benefits are available to full-time employees working 30 or more hours weekly, and some benefits are available to part-time employees.
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts Registered Dental Hygienist license.
- Current CPR (BLS) certification.
- Exceptional working knowledge of comprehensive dentistry, including dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and meticulous documentation.
- Any additional certification or license required by the state to perform specified duties.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality concierge care and exceptional chairside service while building trust with patients.
- Identify signs of periodontal disease or potential oral cancers to support patients’ overall oral health.
- Document and review patient medical histories and chief complaints.
- Take X-rays and intraoral images to assist with treatment planning and document progress or changes.
- Perform oral hygiene procedures in accordance with treatment plans prescribed by the attending dentist.
- Respond with emergency measures to sudden adverse developments during patient treatment.
- Provide instructions for at-home care and oral-health maintenance.
