About The Position

Blank Dental Group Powell is hiring a Dental Hygienist to provide patient-centered care in a modern dental practice. The role emphasizes quality care, with one-hour recall appointments, a safe and contemporary work environment, and opportunities for professional growth through the Hygiene Executive Committee. The practice promotes health over sales and supports employees without production-quota pressure. The position is based at 9733 Sawmill Pkwy, Powell, Ohio 43065. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; part-time or per-diem arrangements may also be discussed. A $7,000 welcoming bonus is offered to the right candidate. The listed salary range is $50 per hour and above.

Requirements

Hold an active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the applicable state.
Hold current CPR (BLS) certification.
Have exceptional working knowledge of comprehensive dentistry, including dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and meticulous documentation.
Hold any additional certification or license required by the state to perform specified duties.

Responsibilities

Provide concierge-level care and demonstrate exceptional chairside manner to build trust with patients.
Identify signs of periodontal disease or potential oral cancers to support patients’ oral health.
Document and review detailed patient medical histories and chief complaints.
Take X-rays and intraoral images to support treatment planning and document progress or changes.
Perform oral hygiene procedures in accordance with treatment plans prescribed by the attending dentist.
Respond proficiently to emergencies and sudden adverse developments during patient treatment.
Provide patients with instructions for at-home care and oral health maintenance.
