About The Position

Dental365 is seeking a Dental Hygienist for Jon Frankel Dentistry in Toledo, Ohio. The practice offers a modern, safety-conscious environment with dedicated one-hour appointments for new patients and recalls. Hygienists provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive culture focused on health rather than sales or production quotas. The growing Hygiene Executive Committee supports and leads the hygiene team, and career growth is encouraged. A $7,000 welcoming bonus is offered to the right candidate. Full-time, part-time, and per-diem schedules are open for discussion. Compensation starts at $45 per hour. Benefits vary by employment schedule; the full benefits package is available to employees working 30 or more hours per week, with some benefits also available to part-time employees.

Requirements

Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the applicable state.
Current CPR (BLS) certification.
Exceptional working knowledge of comprehensive dentistry, including dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and meticulous documentation.
Any additional certification or license required by the state to perform specified duties.

Responsibilities

Provide concierge-level care with exceptional chairside manner and build trust with patients.
Identify signs of periodontal disease or potential oral cancers to support patients’ overall oral health.
Document and review detailed patient medical histories and chief complaints.
Take X-rays and intraoral images to assist with treatment planning and note progress or changes.
Perform oral hygiene procedures according to treatment plans prescribed by the attending dentist.
Respond proficiently with emergency measures to sudden adverse developments during patient treatment.
Provide patients with instructions for at-home care and oral health maintenance.
