About The Position

Dental365 is hiring a Dental Hygienist for Dental Care Basking Ridge in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. The role focuses on providing high-quality, patient-centered dental hygiene care in a modern practice. New patient and recall appointments are one hour, and the practice emphasizes a supportive environment, quality care, and opportunities for professional growth. A $5,000 welcoming bonus is currently offered to the right candidate. The listed schedule is Monday 10:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m., Wednesday 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., Thursday 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., and either Friday 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. or Saturday 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. on alternating weeks. Sunday and Tuesday are off. The employer is flexible in arranging a part-time or full-time schedule, and availability at least every other Saturday is highly preferred. Compensation is listed at $50–$55 per hour, plus quarterly bonuses, with the range potentially varying based on experience. Requirements

Active Registered Dental Hygienist license.
Current CPR (BLS) certification.
Exceptional working knowledge of comprehensive dentistry, including dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and detailed documentation.
Any additional certification or license required by the state to perform specified duties.

Responsibilities

Provide concierge-level care with exceptional chairside manner and build trust with patients.
Identify signs of periodontal disease or potential oral cancers to support patients’ overall oral health.
Document and review patient medical histories and chief complaints.
Take X-rays and intraoral images to assist with treatment planning and document progress or changes.
Perform oral hygiene procedures in accordance with treatment plans prescribed by the attending dentist.
Respond proficiently to emergencies arising during patient treatment.
Provide patients with instructions for at-home care and oral health maintenance.
