About The Position

The Dental Assistant is an important member of the clinical team, working alongside general practitioners and other specialty clinicians to serve patients. The role supports multiple aspects of the practice, including greeting and guiding patients and helping across the office as needed.

The schedule is Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Compensation is $23–$27 per hour. Benefits depend on employment status and hours worked.

Requirements

• Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for assigned duties in the state of employment, such as RDA, CDA, EFDA, state registration, or an equivalent credential as required by the state.
• Hold current CPR/BLS certification or be able to obtain it before the start date.
• Have knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures.
• Help educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies.
• Support the practice and clinical team in improving oral health, solving dental challenges, and bettering smiles.
• Greet and guide patients and help across the office as needed.
