Dental Assistant (with RDA)

About The Position
Smile Brands is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to work closely with a dentist at Johnson Family Dental. The role supports patient care and office operations while contributing to the practice’s service values of Greeting, Guiding, and Gratitude. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Requirements
- Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification.
- CPR or BLS certification.
- At least 5 years of RDA experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments.
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and ensuring patient comfort.
- Take and develop X-rays as needed.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update charts.
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies as required.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.
- Assist with front-office tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing payments, if needed.
