About The Position

The Dental Assistant is an important member of the clinical team, working alongside general practitioners and other specialty clinicians to serve patients. The role supports multiple aspects of the practice, including greeting and guiding patients and helping across the office as needed. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Compensation is $21–$26 per hour. Smile Brands supports more than 650 affiliated dental practices across 28 states, with a mission of delivering smiles for patients, providers, employees, and community partners. Requirements

Meet state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for assigned duties in the state of employment, such as RDA, CDA, EFDA, state registration, or equivalent credentials as required.
Hold current CPR/BLS certification or be able to obtain it before the start date.
Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures.
Help educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies.
Support patients and the practice by helping improve oral health, solve dental challenges, and better smiles.
Greet and guide patients and assist across the office as needed.
