About The Position
Smile Brands is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support the Castle Dental team in Franklin, Tennessee. The role involves assisting the dentist and helping ensure patients are comfortable, informed, and well cared for. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with one Saturday per month. Compensation is $18.00–$21.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential.
- Dental Radiology (X-ray) certification.
- Current CPR/BLS certification, or ability to obtain it before the start date.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and infection control standards.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during exams and procedures, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort.
- Take and develop dental X-rays as needed.
- Sterilize and prepare instruments and treatment rooms in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and dental procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update charts.
